Hospitality Innovation Award 2007

In order to recognise major achievements which have influenced the international hospitality sector, PKF hotelexperts has initiated the Hospitality Innovation Award. Each year, it is given to an outstanding individual or organisation. The prize money of € 5,000 shall be given to a charity organisation selected by the award winner.

In 2007, the Hospitality Innovation Award was granted for the first time; award winner was Carlo Petrini, founder and international president of the Slow Food Movement. Blessed with a knack of anticipating events in the field of food, agriculture and eco-gastronomy, Petrini has played a decisive role in the development of this movement and its philosophy, inventing and promoting its projects.
