Michael Widmann, Chief Executive Director of PKF hotelexperts: "See the world from a new perspective - this is the slogan of the GEO magazine that has been deeply inspiring globetrotters for three decades. Like hardly any other publication GEO gives their readers an opportunity to look beyond their own nose and to get to know foreign cultures. In-depth reports of exotic destinations including professional investigations of characteristics of the associated flora and fauna and impressive photographic material allow the reader to discover different living environments and enable in particular a critical analysis of ecological, social and cultural aspects. Especially in the age of Soundbites and Twitter GEO reportages make a refreshing counterpoint. GEO fuels the desire to see foreign countries and cultures and is thus a pioneer of smart and open journeys in its best form".
